I was on my way to the train the other day and saw a true sign of summer in the sky. On of those planes flying by with the banner attached to the back of it. It was some advertisement for South Bend Bankruptcy waving in the wind, it was beautiful. Usually I do not quite understand why they fly those things, I mean they are usually so high in the air that nobody could see them, but this one was huge and I am pretty sure very close to the ground for a plane. I can understand if you are at a baseball or football game or something and one comes flying by, because a lot of people have binoculars to look at them, but just randomly in the middle of the morning is a little pointless to me. Either way though, I am happy to have seen it because that means this winter of ours is completely behind us an I can lock up the winder jacket, scarves and gloves, and look forward to warmer weather. It has felt like it has been cold for a year or so now. I hope this coming summer lasts just as long.
