I have been surprised with a party, and can’t believe it!  My co-workers did a great job hiding all the preparations from me.  I must say I do enjoy my job which is made more so by things like a surprise birthday party.  Boy, does time fly when you are having fun.  When I started here, it was only as part time and at night to boot, all because I needed to be home for my kids, in the mornings when they left and when they got home from school.  I would have them all settled down by the time their father got home.  I have a friend who works for a Houston bankruptcy attorney, and she is just not happy with her job, says it is too stressful. But I enjoy working for my bankruptcy attorney the most.  My job is really fast-paced and there are always deadlines to meet.  We make them too—mostly.  I can’t remember the last time we flubbed a filing.  I finally got the opportunity to move to days so I took it.  My kids were way past me having to pick them up or be a babysitter anymore.  I can finally see the daylight.
